Tulisa takes legal action over sex tape claims
By Mark Fordham
An online magazine has claimed that Tulisa Contostavlos sent in her lawyers to force it to close down a link to a sex tape that it claims stars the singer.
Bosses at Pappzd.com were left in shock as lawyers for the star entered the offices and gave them a timeframe to have the link closed down.
They claim to have got the link to the tape elsewhere online after it had been trending on Twitter throughout the day.
Tulisa's management refused to comment on speculation about her private life, but she has denied being involved in a sex tape ever since rumours were circulated about it when she began judging the X Factor last year.
Co-owner and editor of Pappzd magazine Nadia Kabahita said the publication usually received around 4,000 hits a day but managed to get 50,000 views after posting the link on its site.
"Her lawyers came to our offices and demanded to take it down due to privacy law. And we were given a deadline in which to take it down otherwise there would be further action," she added.
